- KNOCKING NOISE FROM FRONT OF ENGINE – REMOVED TIMING COVER TO INSPECT – COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG IN AREA OF TIMING CHAIN – REMOVED ENGINE AND PULLED OIL PAN TO INSPECT BEARINGS, NO ISSUES WITH LOWER BEARINGS. WHEN ENGINE IS OUT CAN SEE ISSUE WITH IDLER GEAR ON TIMING CHAIN. FOUND BROKEN BOLT ON TIMING CHAIN IDLER. NEEDS CHAIN REPLACEMENT
- VERIFIED LIFTER NOISE IN ENGINE, REMOVED VALVE COVERS TO INSPECT AND FOUND ONE CAM SHAFT WITH WEAR – NEEDS CAM SHAFT AND LIFTERS
- LONG BLOCK – Remove & Replace – [Includes: Perform ABS Automated Bleed procedure. Includes: R&I Subframe. Includes: DOES NOT include wheel alignment.
- Road test vehicle. Check all suspension and steering parts for wear. Check tire pressure and condition. Check riding height. Check alignment of all four wheels. Adjust caster, camber, toe-in, and thrust angle as needed on all four wheels. Center steering wheel.
- DIAGNOSTIC TIME REQUIRED TO PULL ENGINE OIL PAN AND VALVE COVERS.
- REPLACED BRAKE LINES WHILE ENGINE WAS OUT
- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
